Foreign Minister’s Commendations for FY 2025(Mr. Kazuhiko Kitayama, former Japanese language teacher)

On August 28, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced the recipients of the Foreign Minister’s Commendations for FY 2025.
From Luxembourg, Mr. Kazuhiko Kitayama was honored with the Commendation for his significant contributions to the development and the promotion of Japanese language education in Luxembourg and to the promotion of mutual understanding between the two countries.
Mr. Kitayama taught Japanese language at classes held at the Lycée classique de Diekirch from 2007 and at Athénée de Luxembourg from 2012, and contributed to Japanese language education in Luxembourg for 17 years until his retirement last year.
