The registration opens for MIRAI programme (Mutual-understanding, Intellectual Relations and Academic Exchange Initiative)

The Japanese government has announced that registration is now open for the MIRAI programme (Mutual-understanding, Intellectual Relations and Academic Exchange Initiative)!
The MIRAI Programme promotes mutual understanding by providing an opportunity for intellectual exchanges between Luxembourg students and young Japanese experts or students.
 
In this programme, the Japanese government is inviting a graduate or postgraduate student (aged 20 or over) enrolled at the University of Luxembourg to take part in one week visit to Japan and preliminary online exchange programmes.
Programme themes and the schedule:
Group 2: Diplomacy and Security Policy (Jan 14-Jan 20, 2026)
Group 3: SDGs Business and Innovation (Jan 14-Jan 20, 2026)
　(All students must participate in the preliminary online exchange programme)
 
Registration deadline: Oct 15, 2025, at 1:00 am (Universal Time Coordinated)
Interview test by the Embassy of Japan in Luxembourg for applicants passed the first document screening: Oct 21, 2025
